Workers Compensation

• The Hand + Upper Limb Centre (HULC) are highly experienced in treating work-related injuries, or what’s known as workers’ compensation cases. Workers’ compensation is an insurance claim whereby employees who have been injured at work, or become sick due to their work, receive complimentary medical treatments and wage replacement payments whilst they cannot work.
• When working with workers’ compensation patients, HULC therapists communicate closely with your referring doctor and employer to develop suitable return to work plans, treatment strategies and give regular medical progress updates. Assessments can be sent to your doctor to assist with the processing of your claim.

A referral is required

• Workers’ compensation patients require a referral from their doctor, employer, occupational health officer and/or insurance company.
• The length of time for recuperation after a hand, wrist or elbow injury varies depending on the actual condition. At HULC we are committed to providing the best possible treatment plan to ensure you have the best possible results.
